I work for a centralised marketing department where I am in charge of Brand Management, content creation, strategy and planning on a global level. I am responsible for working with all departments in the business to align brand and content efforts around all products and services. I am involved with strategic placement and brand storytelling as well as the customer journey experience and ultimately reporting on the ROI of our campaigns.

 

Part of my role is to align the brand and content efforts and ensure our 20+ subsidiaries are supported with their marketing efforts. We meet regularly, and I frequently travel to art direct and oversee the creation of videos, interviews or photoshoots for launches or target-market campaigns.

I am considered to be the 'Right-hand-lady' to the Global Marketing Manager, and together, we set budgets, write plans and strategies and collaborate on many products, sales and business decisions.

​In this role, I was part of the e-commerce product team, writing SEO-enriched content for English websites. My role as a product specialist was to communicate with vendors, trade managers and our internal agency to upgrade online product content. I was responsible for managing databases and product lists based on sales figures and product assortment. My objective was to ensure the best ROI through fast, thorough production - which demanded being focused and deadline-driven.

This position saw me managing and trafficking multiple campaigns and being the middleman between client and agency. Using my creative background, copywriting skills and strategic thinking - this was an exciting and challenging time.​ Building and growing relationships were key to this role, as were good negotiating skills with regard to budgeting and getting the best rates for ourselves and our clients.
